Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Lab Specialty position is located in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role involves providing intraoperative circulation nursing support in a busy endoscopy unit within an acute care setting. The position requires working with various endoscopy procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding, with a focus on procedural support and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Location: Wheeling, West Virginia
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some weekend and holiday call. The shift hours are 10 hours daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an endoscopy or procedural nursing setting; knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is a plus.
• Additional Information: The role involves case support in an endoscopy unit with a 50-mile radius rule for staffing, and active licensure and documentation are required at submission. No techs or nurse aides are assigned to this department.
• Notes: This position requires familiarity with EPIC charting, and knowledge of Epic is considered advantageous.
