Operating Room Tech / Certified First Surgical Assistant

Job Summary:
A Certified First Surgical Assistant (Specialty) position is available in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves supporting surgical procedures in a facility with multiple operating rooms and staff. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment assisting with a variety of surgical specialties.

• Certifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), Certified First Assistant (CFA)
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or Certified First Assistant (CFA), at least 2 years of first assist experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures in general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, neuro, orthopedics, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
• Shift Schedule: The position involves working a 12-hour day shift with approximately 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include assisting in operations within the main operating room, adhering to unit policies, and participating in on-call rotations as required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working weekends and on-call shifts, and possess the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
