Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:

The Gainesville-based organization is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 16-week assignment at a multi-specialty surgical center. The role involves providing perioperative care in a fast-paced outpatient environment, primarily focusing on adult and pediatric orthopedic, urology, gynecology, and trauma cases. This position requires strong circulating experience and adherence to surgical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-Hour Day Shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM), variable start times, Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends, no major holidays, no late stay obligation
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of RN Circulator experience with prior travel experience, valid active Florida RN license or compact license, BLS certification; ACLS and EPIC experience strongly preferred; experience in adult & pediatric orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and pediatrics; strong circulating experience in orthopedic joints/general, robotics, trauma, urology; PBS scrub experience preferred but not required; ability to pass specialty exam and EKG interpretation exam; must be able to identify lethal rhythms

• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience in adult and pediatric orthopedic, urology, gynecology, or trauma cases; surgical scrubs are provided; facial hair must comply with respirator guidelines; permeable shoes are not permitted; all new RN starts are required to pass specified exams; vaccination for influenza is mandatory with proof of vaccination; vaccination exemption only accepted with a physician note documenting a reaction
