Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) Jasper, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized surgical support in a busy operating room environment. The role requires a skilled professional capable of handling various surgical procedures, demonstrating strong assessment, critical thinking, and adaptability to change. The assignment offers an opportunity to work within a renowned healthcare facility, supporting a diverse patient population.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Certified Operating Room Technician certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 0 years of experience, located in Jasper, Indiana.
• Schedule: The shift is scheduled for 10 hours per day, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Start date is 08/03/2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in total joints, Da Vinci, spine, general, Urology, and GYN. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required.
• Call requirement: Yes, with approximately 8 callbacks within a 6-week period, including potential weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities.
• Unit Information: Six operating rooms with an average of 350-400 cases per month.
• Uniform: Scrubs will be provided.
• Covid-19 Vaccine: Not required (subject to change).
• Holiday and weekend coverage: Yes, including a holiday call rotation on Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
• Shift notes: Preference for 10-hour shifts; alternative options include 9-hour or 8-hour shifts to fulfill 36-40 hours weekly.
