Job Summary

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Outpatient Adult Medicine in Simsbury, Connecticut. This position involves working with a variety of specialty providers within an outpatient internal medicine setting. The role requires direct patient care, adherence to clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, with a start time of 7:45 AM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, knowledge of medical assisting practices, familiarity with relevant policies and procedures, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work under pressure, outpatient internal medicine experience, Epic electronic health record experience is a plus, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (CAAHEP or ABHES), current registration as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent certifying body, and BLS certification.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working independently and able to start promptly. This role involves working as part of a clinical team with flexible hours to meet patient care needs.
