Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Wichita, Kansas. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical unit specializing in orthopedic, neurology, vascular, and other surgical procedures. The role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment such as DaVinci Robotics and Mako, supporting a team committed to patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedic, neurology, and vascular procedures, prior Meditech experience
- Additional Information: On-call in the unit consists of one weeknight per week and one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time. The unit features advanced technology and a skilled team with extensive experience. The facility handles a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedics, GYN, general, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, and others.
