Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
A nursing professional specializing in Endoscopy Lab procedures is sought for a facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves providing care during gastrointestinal and bronchoscopy procedures, including administering sedation and managing patient recovery at all levels of care, such as post-anesthesia care units (PACU), Phase I, and Phase II recovery. The role requires recent acute care experience with sedated GI and pulmonary procedures and active licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the last 3 years, experience with recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy, recent Telemetry test passing, ACLS and BLS certifications, Epic and charting system experience, minimum 0 years experience, location in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing moderate sedation, managing airway, and handling specialty equipment such as balloon dilators, Electrosurgical units, and EBUS.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This role involves providing comprehensive care during multispecialty procedures, managing sedation within targeted ranges based on Ramsay Sedation Scale scores, and working within a collaborative surgical team. The candidate must pass strict Pass/Fail Telemetry tests before start date.
