Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Torrance, California. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The role requires delivering advanced patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining clinical standards in a Level 1 trauma environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, between 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of recent behavioral health emergency room nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma setting; one year of recent ER experience; valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification or Fire card; ability to obtain fingerprint clearance prior to starting; and valid certification to practice in the state of California.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Additional Information: The assignment is for 8 weeks only, with no planned time off. Candidates must be able to arrive at the facility for fingerprinting prior to being cleared to start.
