Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in Rancho Mirage, California. This position involves providing specialized direct patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab environment. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, assessment of patients` physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, and participation in multidisciplinary care planning to ensure optimal cardiac patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift is days, with 12-hour shifts from 0600 to 1830, approximately 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters degree in Nursing or enrolled in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one (1) year of hire and Completion within five (5) years of hire if hired after July 1, 2012; California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA; One (1) year of acute care RN experience or successful completion of Eisenhowers Nurse Residency Program.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the area of specialty such as cath lab nursing.
- Skills: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected situations; handling difficult and stressful situations in a calm and professional manner; accurate assessment skills appropriate to the patients age; current knowledge of nursing, medical, and health trends; strong written and verbal communication skills; recent cath lab experience.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters degree in Nursing; enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one year of hire and completion within five years if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Licensure/Certification: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: One (1) year of acute care RN experience or successful completion of Eisenhowers Nurse Residency Program.
- Additional information: May be required to work at alternate sites; demonstrates leadership and professional development; participates in unit-based and professional initiatives.
