Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position located in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves managing a variety of patient cases in a fast-paced emergency department, including critical care, trauma, pediatric, psychiatric, and urgent care patients. The RN will deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to patients with complex needs, supporting positive patient outcomes and experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia; Emergency Room experience of at least 1 year; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; certifications required include NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is preferred
• Additional Information: The emergency department environment is fast-paced, handling a wide range of patient acuities and conditions, such as critical care, trauma, pediatric, psychiatric, and urgent care. The RN will manage critical skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tubes. Candidates must be ready to coordinate and provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care to ensure optimal outcomes.
