Registered Nurse / Dialysis Unit

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis is needed for a facility located in Janesville, Wisconsin. The role involves providing inpatient acute dialysis care within a fast-paced environment. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care, following established policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin nursing license, education verification, AHA provider level BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. One year of experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient dialysis or related nephrology nursing is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams in the care of patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policies, standards of care, and state laws. Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient care plans and documents accordingly. Participates in department performance improvement activities and may support various units or departments. Utilizes clinical expertise and critical thinking to promote patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately. The work schedule may include an on-call rotation averaging 3-4 days per month and one weekend per month.
