Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
This PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position is located within the operating department of a healthcare organization in Sitka, Alaska. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN, Associate degree in nursing, or Diploma in nursing); high school diploma or GEDA; valid, current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska; 3 years of OR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; experience in Critical Access Hospitals and/or Rural Operating Rooms.
• Additional Information: The position is located within the operating department of a healthcare provider in Sitka, Alaska. This role involves multi-tasking within the PACU, providing postoperative care, and supporting surgical teams during scheduled hours. Healthcare professionals must ensure timely patient recovery and care documentation.
