Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit Phoenix, AZ. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective patient care in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to meet the physical, psychological, and developmental needs of patients.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification in critical care or ICU Nursing are preferred
• Additional Information: The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should have the ability to respond quickly to unexpected patient needs and demonstrate effective communication skills.
