Job Summary:
The operating room specialty in Arlington, Texas, involves supporting surgical procedures in a busy unit with 10 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites. The role requires assisting with a variety of procedures, excluding transplants, and ensuring smooth perioperative operations in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Unit Information: Surgery 70101 & Endo 73301
• Location: Arlington, Texas
• Shift: Days (8 hours)
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience, with certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience, Emergency Cardiovascular Recovery Program (ECRP) experience, Vascular experience, and proficiency with advanced procedures are advantageous.
• Floats: No floating required
• Additional Information: Staff accommodates both day and night shifts, with on-call and holiday coverage essential for this role. The team comprises charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists (CSTs), anesthesia technicians, orderlies, and equipment techs. Candidate personality traits should include flexibility and teamwork.
• Responsibilities: Support a variety of surgical procedures, maintain sterile environments, and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
