Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional role is based in Escondido, California, at a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focusing on adult and geriatric patient care. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a 52-bed rehabilitation setting, supporting patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, and trauma-related conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1+ year of clinical experience, and the ability to float as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical rehabilitation, familiarity with electronic health records system (CERNER), and strong patient care skills.
• Additional Information: The position requires the candidate to be able to work four weekend shifts within a six-week schedule. Scrub color is flexible. The role supports adult and geriatric patient populations, with patient ratios of approximately one nurse to every five patients. Candidates should report at 7:00 AM and inquire for the charge nurse or supervisor upon arrival, parking is available in the garage on the 5th floor, with a temporary pass recommended for the first day.
