Job Summary:
The Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized infusion care for patients undergoing complex treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cellular therapy, and blood product administration. The RN will work as part of a skilled team supporting outpatient infusion services, with a focus on high patient acuity and volume, in a facility committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Shift Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Position: 1 full-time RN for Bone Marrow Transplant Oncology unit
  • Certifications & Experience: Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital BMT Oncology RN experience; preferred certifications include Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification and Chemo/Biotherapy Certification; experience with immunocompromised patients, blood products, IV placement, and cellular therapy administration is highly desirable.
  • Unit Description: The infusion center has 55 beds and 176 chairs, staffed by 86 core team members, with a focus on outpatient infusion care for transplant and liver/renal programs, including a nationally ranked TCT program.
  • Patient Care Responsibilities: Administering infusions of IVIG, blood products, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy, including oversite of cellular procedures post-training.
  • Unit Policies: Focus on safe infusion practices, patient safety, and high-acuity care.
  • Additional Information: The team provides critical outpatient infusion services supporting stem cell collection and CAR T-cell therapy, with a commitment to excellent care for vulnerable patients.
