Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Lee`s Summit, Missouri. This role involves providing nursing care within a surgical unit that specializes in a variety of procedures, including total joints, arthroscopy, colorectal, and ENT surgeries. The position offers a consistent schedule with four days a week, with shift hours from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, providing a reliable and structured work environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4 DAYS A WEEK, 0645-1515, with the possibility of floating to other ambulatory surgical centers in the Kansas City area to meet scheduled hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room experience, circulating ORTHO, ENT, GYN, SPORTS MEDICINE, GENERAL, NEURO, and ability to circulate Orthopedic/Total joints, Urogyn, ENT, Podiatry, Colorectal procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience and C-arm experience are highly desirable and will be considered first.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position is located in a surgery center with 3 operating rooms, staffed by a team of 20 healthcare professionals. Equipment used includes Stryker arthroscopy and video systems, power tools, various surgical tables, and advanced imaging and monitoring devices. The unit performs a wide range of procedures such as total joints, arthroscopy, colo-rectal, T&A, laryngoscopy, BMT, laminectomy, ACDF, mid-urethral slings, total vaginal hysterectomy, and interstim placement. The dress code requires provided scrubs, and professionalism in attire is expected.
