Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Delano, California. This position involves delivering specialized nursing care within the labor and delivery department, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing educational support to patients and families.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); California RN licensure; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS; STABLE Certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; Fetal Heart Monitoring certification; a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience in labor and delivery.
  • Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertaining to maternal and fetal health, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements individualized care plans, and coordinates patient care to promote safety and positive outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, provides patient education, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties appropriately.
  • Additional Information: The assignment begins on 08/03/2026, at a facility located in Delano, California. Candidates must have EPIC experience as it is required for this role.
