Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Apple Valley, California. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care in a busy acute care hospital setting with a focus on surgical procedures across multiple specialties. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and quality outcomes during surgical interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, variable days, with coverage from Sunday to Saturday. The shifts include 0630 - 1900, 0630 - 1900 with on call from 1900 - 2300, 0930 - 2200, 1030 - 2300 with on call from 2300 - 0700, and weekend/holiday call.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, minimum of 2 years of OR experience with surgical procedures outlined in the unit description; 3 years preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Experience with a variety of surgical procedures is strongly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting.
• Start Date: 08/11/2026
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• RTO Restrictions: Must include RTO at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved.
• Additional Information: The facility`s main operating suites house a variety of specialties including ENT, General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics (General, GYN, Urology - Da Vinci Xi), Spine, Total Joints, Urology, and Vascular. The outpatient surgery center has dedicated surgical suites for ENT, General, GYN, Ophthalmology, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology procedures. Equipment includes Stryker and Smith and Nephew systems.
