Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist located in Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves providing clinical and procedural support within the operating environment. The role includes floating within the same discipline across local campuses and requires adherence to facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Iowa license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), 2 years of clinical experience, drivers license, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, and a copy of required certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification
• Additional Information: Position involves outpatient surgeries and infusion procedures, including infusion medications and titrations such as blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics (no chemotherapy). Candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility unless located in Madison, where local candidates with a 10% rate reduction are accepted. The role includes working with a 3:1 patient ratio and responsibilities during weekends and holidays, including one weekend per month and approximately four weekday calls. Call shifts may include holiday coverage, with an option for weekend and weekday call rotations.
