Job Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position available in Michigan. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the surgical unit, supporting pre-surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and operating room procedures. The position requires adaptability to day shifts and participation in call rotations for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Day shifts, 8 hours each, starting between 05:45 and 09:00, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room or related specialties, Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Specialties and Experience: Must have experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, podiatry, and cardiology cases, including procedures involving pacemakers and lead revisions. Candidates should have experience covering Pre-surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and scrubbing in the Operating Room.
  • Schedule and Call Requirements: Day shifts with call responsibilities including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Response time for call is within 30 minutes.
  • Additional Information: Scrubs provided by the hospital. Orientation includes a one-week department-specific training. Clinicians with prior work experience for this organization must have an end date at least six months before the submission date. Clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
