Job Summary
The Cardiac Catherization Laboratory (CCL) specialized registered nurse position is located in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing patient care in a busy acute hospital setting, supporting a Level II Trauma facility with magnet designation. The nurse will be responsible for performing and assisting with various interventional cardiology procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and device placements, within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Shift: 10-hour days, starting from 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Alaska registered nurse license in hand, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2 years of clinical experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, experience with Epic charting system, proficiency in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and device placements, and ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP (Electrophysiology) or Interventional Radiology units, previous trauma or high-acuity hospital experience.
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift; on-call required for 1 day weekly and the 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800 to Monday at 0730).
- Additional Information: On-call weekends and approximately one Saturday per month are part of scheduled shifts; float within scope to EP or IR units may be required; candidates must be willing to work major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and provide references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
- Location: The position is based at an acute hospital with 407 beds, situated at 3200 Providence Drive, Anchorage, Alaska. Parking is free.
