Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurses are sought for a healthcare organization in Portland, Oregon. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a busy medical-surgical unit, including telemetry monitoring. The role offers day shifts, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care across adult and geriatric populations.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, Oregon
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Experience Requirements: 0 years minimum experience, with prior telemetry and medical-surgical experience preferred
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), relevant clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units, proficiency with Epic charting system, Oregon state licensure or pending license, and valid medical-surgical nursing credentials.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Experience with insulin administration, colostomy/ileostomy care, neurovascular assessments, and cardiac monitoring required.
• Float Requirement: Travelers may float between units as needed; flexibility is necessary.
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 for days and weekends.
• Additional Information: Travelers must have a vehicle for this assignment. The facility may require coverage during holidays and floating to affiliate facilities. Candidates should be prepared to work three of the five holidays, with all specific scheduling requested upfront. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
• Submission Requirements: Include responses to prior employment at Providence facilities, floating experience, and verification of RN certification and licensure.
