Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Ithaca, NY. This professional nursing position involves coordinating outpatient and inpatient services within a dynamic imaging environment. The role encompasses assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for various imaging procedures, as well as supporting clinical needs across multiple campus locations. The RN functions as a procedure nurse and collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of nursing experience, current knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care standards, and location requirements within the state of New York
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Interventional Radiology, proficiency in vascular access and patient assessment, and familiarity with imaging software and protocols
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with inpatient and outpatient procedures, preadmission assessments, post-procedure care, and supporting specialized programs such as Breast Navigation and Lung Navigation. Flexibility to work across multiple imaging sites including Main Campus, East Campus, and Cayuga Park Campus is essential.
