Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular diagnoses, including CHF, STEMI, and NSTEMI. The position requires flexible availability for night shifts and rotating weekends, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours
• Hours per week: Minimum of 48 hours
• Start date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse (RN), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred; 0 or more years of clinical experience; experience managing adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions; must be able to work night shifts and rotating weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiovascular experience required, telemetry management skills, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: The unit has 55 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5. Willingness to float to similar units within scope is expected. Support services include respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and social services. Flexibility for rotating weekends and RTO parameters are in place, with orientation provided prior to start.
• Submittal Details: Pending NM/Compact license acceptance; travelers expected to be on site within 48 business hours after contract signing.
