Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing critical care in the emergency department, with a focus on caring for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations. The role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and effective communication to ensure patient safety.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (12 hours) with scheduled hours of 36 per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in emergency nursing, relevant educational background, Wisconsin state licensure, at least 2 prior travel contracts, and two years of emergency department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system, ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, and previous experience in critical care settings.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position involves rotating shifts based on department needs, with the possibility of floating onsite within the skill set or to nearby sites if necessary. Candidates should demonstrate strong team collaboration skills, timely communication, and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately to maintain patient safety.
