Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse for a shift in Shiloh, Illinois. This position involves providing direct patient care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients, including those transitioning from intensive care units, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and medication administration. The selected candidate will work a 12-hour night shift on a Fri/Sat/Sun block schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, on a Fri/Sat/Sun block schedule
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois or compact state license, 1 year of medical-surgical-cardiac/telemetry experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification, experience with cardiac telemetry and IV medications including antiarrhythmic medications, heparin, and management of dysrhythmias
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, pre/post cardiac catheterization, medication titration, and use of rapid response/Code teams
• Float: Float to Medical-Surgical units may be required within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float between facilities in Shiloh and Belleville
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients, including those requiring telemetry monitoring, IV medication administration, and specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization support. There are no special operational or clinical procedures exclusive to this role beyond those listed.
