Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse at a short-term acute care facility located in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves floating between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units, providing care to adult and geriatric patients. The role offers a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and a strong foundation in telemetry nursing.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Missouri or other compact states, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry care, BCLS and ACLS certifications, and proficiency in IV start and telemetry monitoring.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH stroke scale certification.
• Float: Float within scope to all medical units, renal, oncology, and neuro units.
• Additional Information: Nurses will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units. The facility requires lift devices (training provided), ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners. The role includes holiday rotation and every other weekend shift coverage. RTO requests are limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract, with detailed policies on prior approval and finalization at submission. Orientation includes 36 hours of onboarding.
