Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical environment, supporting diverse procedures including general surgery, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, and gynecological operations. The schedule primarily features evening shifts with flexibility to accommodate departmental needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State nursing license, 0 years of minimum experience, certifications including BLS, and CNOR.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting system experience.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Experience in orthopedic total joint and trauma, neuro, gynecology/urology, vascular, and thoracic surgeries is preferred. RNs must have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement, skills required for all RNs at the healthcare provider.
• Additional Information: Must be able to float to different units as needed. Candidates should be willing to start on 08/10/2026 and be available for shifts across various surgical specialties. Candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are not accepted. State license in New York is required to be in hand at the time of submission.
