Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This 13-week travel assignment involves providing surgical services in a dynamic facility. The role requires acute clinical skills, flexibility with floating to various surgical units, and the ability to handle a high patient acuity environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
• Shift: Days, 7:00 am 7:00 pm, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position type: Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Services
• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Experience Required: 2 years of OR RN experience, with an open minimum of 0 years
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Floating to various surgery centers may be required
  • Call requirement: one to two 8-hour call shifts per week, with a rate of $95/hr approved
  • Patient ratio: 1:1 on the unit
  • Number of beds: 15
  • EMR system used: Cerner
  • Scrub color: Hospital provided
  • General comments: The assignment is a contractor replacement with no guarantee of 48-hour blocked scheduling; patient care is intensive with high acuity.
