Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the telemetry and medical-surgical units, supporting various patient needs across multiple floors. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adapt to different clinical environments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience.
- Float: Float can be required to other medical-surgical floors.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have a friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated personality to thrive in a dynamic team environment. The unit primarily uses standard medical-surgical equipment and the Cerner electronic medical record system. New staff will receive a reference book at the start of the contract.
