Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit care in Anderson, Indiana. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to medically complex patients requiring telemetry, frequent monitoring, and specialized interventions. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, healthcare facility experience, ability to work nights, in Anderson, Indiana, with 0 or more years of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry, critical care, or step down units is advantageous
• Additional Information: The Step-Down Unit/Progressive Care/Med/Surg (SDU/PCU) Registered Nurse is responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, managing devices such as telemetry monitors and IV lines, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The RN is expected to educate patients and families and adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols.
