Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry located in Denver, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, providing supportive and restorative therapy and treatment either directly or through consultation and delegation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association); at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing; certification appropriate for the unit or service.
• Additional Information: The RN may be required to float to other departments within the scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May also be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. Responsibilities include documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, executing medical functions, monitoring therapy plans, and utilizing resources effectively.
