Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health education and counseling, while executing delegated medical functions and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Location: Brighton, Colorado
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing, current RN license in Colorado, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications as appropriate for the unit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing and additional certification relevant to the emergency room setting.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, execution of medical functions, patient referrals, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, and resource utilization.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
