Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions within the cardiac catheterization lab. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care related to cardiac procedures, providing health education and counseling, and executing clinical therapies to support patient well-being. The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days Shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; (ACLS, NRP, PALS as appropriate for unit or service).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree of Nursing; certification relevant to the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • Skills: Nursing care, health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, clinical documentation, resource utilization, registered nurse experience.
  • Schedule: Days shift with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments based on business needs; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
