Registered Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) Miles City, Montana. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The RN will utilize their nursing knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care, ensuring quality standards are met. This role emphasizes resident advocacy, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to legal and professional guidelines.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited nursing school; current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; 1 year of experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform holistic and age-specific assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, and document resident responses and outcomes. Responsibilities include managing urgent/emergent situations, administering medications and IV therapies, and providing resident and family education. The RN supervises and evaluates Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care. Knowledge of CMS regulations and Medicare criteria is essential for compliance and accurate documentation. The position requires physical stamina and ability to perform tasks such as lifting over 100 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
