Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Orthopedic care on the dayshift at a healthcare facility in Billings, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks according to accepted standards, including patient assessment, health education, therapy, and treatment planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree of Nursing; certification as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Additional Information: The RN will perform health data assessments, health teaching, counseling, therapy and treatment planning, resource utilization, patient referrals, documentation, execution of medical functions, and monitoring of therapy and treatment plans. Flexibility to float within scope of competency and qualifications may be required. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
