Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Glenview, Illinois. This full-time position involves providing care in a Cardiac Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit within a healthcare facility. The role is suited for a professional with a focus on cardiac patient management and the ability to pass the required clinical assessments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, cardiac experience, must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher, and must pass a 12-hour orientation on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to hospitals in Highland Park, Evanston, or Skokie.
• Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled for Monday only; credentials are due the Thursday before the start date. The unit has a capacity of 24 beds, with 6 staff members on the day shift and 5 on the night shift, including 1 unrestricted casual staff member. This position involves caring for heart failure patients, post-procedure patients, and patients with pulmonary, gastrointestinal, or behavioral acute conditions.
