Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Vermont. This role involves providing exceptional urgent care services in a high-volume emergency department. The selected candidate will work on a rotating evening and night schedule, supporting patient outcomes through efficient and compassionate care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating evening and night shifts; typical shift hours are 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; experience with Dysrhythmia testing; a nationally recognized de-escalation certification; VT (Vermont) licensure must be obtained upon acceptance; minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience; relevant degree or certification as an RN and current licensure in the state of Vermont.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner electronic medical record system experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation is held biweekly; schedule requests are subject to managerial approval. Candidates should ensure all employment gaps exceeding 30 days are explained or documented. Public transportation is not accessible, so owning a vehicle is encouraged.
