Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Neurology Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Neurology Nurse in Janesville, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a neurology-focused medical surgical floor. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, administration of prescribed treatments, and active participation in quality improvement activities. The position includes every other weekend and holiday shifts during nights.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin nursing license, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, CPR/BLS certification, verified education, and at least 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical surgical neurology units is desirable
• Float: Float to other units/support departments may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates will utilize clinical expertise to support patients` longitudinal plan of care, documenting according to standards, and participating in performance improvement activities. The role involves medication administration, patient instruction, and applying critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience.
