Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Surgical

Job Summary:
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Damariscotta, Maine. This role involves providing specialized care within a surgical intensive care environment, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic facility focused on patient recovery and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Location: 35 Miles Street, Damariscotta, Maine
• Position: RN Specialty Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Department/Role: ICU/Surgical
• Number of Openings: 1
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift times, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification/license as an RN, Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or equivalent, minimum of 5 years of experience in ICU or surgical critical care, ability to work nights, clinical skills including vasoactive drips and ventilators, with occasional float to medical-surgical units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ICU/Surgical unit, ICU/IMC/MS, familiarity with ventilators and critical patient care.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with ventilators, vasoactive drips, and ICU equipment. The personality fit includes being proactive, team-oriented, and maintaining high standards. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
