Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room registered nurse located in Bishop, California. This position involves providing collaborative nursing care within the surgical department, adhering to established standards of practice and in accordance with the medical staff`s treatment plan. The RN is dedicated to promoting the health potential of patients through effective care delivery, delegation, and team coordination.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift; 10 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of School of Nursing; current California State License as a Registered Nurse; minimum of one year current operating room experience; BLS certification upon hire; ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire; interpersonal and analytical skills; basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and intranet; ability to read, write, and understand English; physical ability to fulfill position requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or BA degree.
• Additional Information: No daily direct patient care contact. The position involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Candidate must demonstrate understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, including the needs of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
