Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Critical Care Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing patient-centered care in a 24-bed ICU unit, supporting a staff of 55 healthcare professionals. The position requires clinical expertise in critical care nursing and is suitable for those with foundational ICU experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Reston, Virginia
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2-3 years ICU experience, BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma ICU experience, TNCC certification
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 in ICU/CCU units
• Unit Information: 24-bed ICU with EMR Meditech system, staffing of approximately 55 staff members
• Additional Information: Candidates must adhere to scrub dress code in navy attire. The role includes a day/night rotation and weekends on call. Multiple positions are available for qualified applicants.
