Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse for a position located in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing critical patient care in a 24-bed ICU/CCU unit, supporting a team of 55 staff members. The position offers a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Location: Reston, VA
• Schedule: Dayshift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 2 or more years of ICU experience; current eligible to work in the state of Virginia.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Trauma ICU and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 24
  • Staff: 55 members
  • Patient ratio: 2:1
  • EMR: Meditech
• Responsibilities: Providing bedside critical care, responding to emergencies, and adhering to hospital protocols.
• Schedule Details: The shift involves a day/night rotation with weekends and on-call periods.
