Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position located in Lakeport, California. This role involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with healthcare team members. The position requires flexibility to respond to a variety of medical emergencies in a Level 4 trauma and stroke center.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and at least 2 years of ER experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma centers, stroke centers, or high-acuity emergency departments; experience with PT/INR management, invasive procedures, and trauma responses is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The nurse will care for diverse patient populations of all age groups, handle medical emergencies such as strokes, traumas, and STEMIs, and utilize advanced emergency equipment and procedures. The role involves managing multiple patients and working within a team to deliver timely care.
