Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Lafayette, Indiana. This position involves providing direct patient care within a busy surgical department, supporting a variety of specialties including orthopedics, neuro, vascular, and more. The role offers a dynamic working environment with a focus on collaboration and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Location: 3900 St. Francis Way, Lafayette, IN 47905
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts typically running from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, varying days off)
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, at least 3 years of RN experience, BLS, ACLS, open to candidates with no prior experience as minimum experience is 0.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotics training, vascular experience, and open heart experience are highly desirable but not required.
• Unit Information: Consists of 10 operating rooms handling general, orthopedic, spine, neuro, GYN, ENT, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, or open heart cases.
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude, adaptable, proactive, attentive to detail, and capable of anticipating clinical needs.
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided, surgery scrubs.
