Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) working in a facility located in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized care in an interventional radiology setting for adult patients aged 14 through 99. The position includes rotating day shifts with on-call duties and weekend coverage, supporting a team that manages complex procedures and emergency situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Mass RN License, ACLS, BLS certifications; 1+ year of Interventional Radiology experience; Massachusetts licensure must be current and in hand.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Siemens and Philips radiology equipment, EPIC Radiant documentation, Philips monitors, and familiarity with laser, Angiojet, EKOS, CSI, vaso drips, and thrombolytics.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will support a facility with four procedure rooms, patient ratios of 1:1, and emergency ventilator use. Responsibilities include managing moderate sedation, operating radiology equipment, and addressing common diagnoses such as PAD, PE, and cancer. On-call responsibilities are one to two days per week, one weekend per month, and may include holiday coverage during the assignment.
