Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse specializing in Oncology located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This position involves interpreting treatment plans, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and providing individualized nursing care to a diverse patient population requiring chemotherapy and diagnosis management on an LTAC oncology unit. The role focuses on ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; degree in nursing or related field; at least 0 years of nursing experience; willingness to work in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in oncology nursing; ongoing education in Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or related certifications.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include maintaining detailed patient reports, administering medications, monitoring patient reactions and vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and modify patient care plans based on patient responses and conditions.
