Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Urology/Renal at a healthcare organization located in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Details:

• Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
• Shift: Days
• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Type of Staff: 1 charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC, and 1 CNA on the day shift; physical staffing may include floating to similar units or acting as a sitter if needed
• Number of Beds: 18-bed unit
• Patient Ratios: RNs range from 1:4 to 1:6; CNAs range from 1:9 to 1:18
• Equipment: Mobilization equipment, lift devices, cyclers for peritoneal dialysis, scales
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Required Certifications: BLS, RN licensure, PCT certificate
• Preferred or Nice to Have Skills: BSN, Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse, Cerner experience
• Typical Procedures: Peritoneal Dialysis
• Personality Fit: Flexible, adaptable to change, compassionate, and timely
• Float: Can float to like units or be utilized as a sitter if needed
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; galaxy blue for CNAs
• Unit Policies: Follows hospital policies and procedures
• Weekends and On-call: Rotation includes weekends and holidays
• Number of Positions: 1
