Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves supporting a busy surgical unit within a leading acute care facility. The role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a facility recognized for its quality services and patient care excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, North Carolina nursing license or compact license, and at least 1 year of recent OR experience in a surgical setting with case types including ophthalmology, orthopedics, gynecology/urology, plastics, general surgery, pediatrics, and others.
• Preferred Qualifications: Greater than 1 year of OR experience, CNOR certification, familiarity with EMR systems such as Cerner Surginet.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role supports a team working in a fast-paced surgical environment with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a family-like unit.
